Hog Valley now has DSL. Call or visit Windstream.com to order.

Do you live in the
Hog Valley
area and have
VERY SLOW Internet
service?

We will be petitioning Windstream to bring DSL high-speed Internet service to our area. Currently only a small portion of Hog Valley can get high-speed DSL Internet access.

DSL is a way of providing high-speed Internet access through your existing phone line. With DSL, you will be able to talk on the phone and be on the Internet at the same time with one line. In fact, you're always connected to the Internet.

If you’re using a dial-up modem to connect now, you’re lucky if you can connect faster than 28k. Windstream offers several DSL plans that are 8 to 100 times faster than your dial-up modem!

If you live in an area of Hog Valley within approximately 3 miles of the Pig Pen Saloon, your telephone service is delivered through the old Alltel (now Windstream) "block house" switch (near Pig Pen Saloon) which has not been enabled for DSL service.

If you live within this area and would like a high speed, always-on Internet connection, please help by signing the petition located at the Ocklawaha River Country Store.

You can also help by spreading the word about this petition. Please tell your neighbors to stop by the store and sign. You can pick up extra flyers and forms at the store or download printable copies below.
